Continuing Education

Our response to our diaconate calling includes a commitment to be prepared for the challenges of Diaconate ministry. To keep current and to be refreshed, we rely on information and input from our Bishop, our director, workshops, and conferences. We must continually search to know "what is going on" in our World Church, Archdiocese, and the Diaconate Community.

The Continuing Education Committee created this web page as an on-line resource and information center for Permanent Deacons. In the future we will post planned Continuing Education Days, books, magazines, articles, regional Deacon news/meetings, information from our Bishop and director as well as the latest pronouncements from Rome.

Much of the information on this site was formerly mailed to you or communicated to you by word on an "as needed" basis. We hope that you will become familiar with and access our web site regularly. This electronic communication medium will not only save paper, time, and mailing costs but more importantly "get the word out" quickly.

This web site will continue to evolve and mature from your feedback. We encourage you to contact us via the link on this page. Please use this link to communicate information such as your email address change, any news to share with our community, feedback, or your special needs – prayer, health update, etc.
