The Office of Catechetical Services assists parishes/clusters with the Church's mission of passing on and deepening the Catholic faith of all, ranging from the young to the elderly and marginalized. The tasks of catechesis (knowledge, liturgical education, moral formation, prayer, community and missionary dimension) are the foundation for the work of Catechetical Services. It provides direct services to faith formation leaders and faith formation commissions in planning and administrative area.

I have served in parish and diocesan settings for over 25 years as a volunteer, Director of Religious Education, youth minister, school principal, local safe environment coordinator, coordinator of liturgy and music, presenter for Pre-Marriage Preparation days, and member of Diocesan boards and committees. During my years of service, I have been the recipient of many blessings and have been inspired by the work of catechists, teachers, parents, and others. My mission is to work with the people of the Archdiocese of Dubuque to help spread Jesus' message of faith, hope, and love to all nations.

As a DRE for over 20 years, my professional career has been dedicated to religious education in all areas of catechesis promulgated by the Archdiocese of Dubuque. I believe that all Catholic Christians are called to ministry, to be a priestly people. I worked in the Finance Office of the Archdiocese for eight years prior to being home with my children. Returning to the Archdiocese of Dubuque in 2008 as support for the Office of Catechetical Services, I am here to assist you in any way I can. I also have served as catechist for many years at several parishes in and around Dubuque.
