The Vicar General’s duties are assigned by the Archbishop. Duties include being the official spokesperson for the Archbishop; acting in the place of the Archbishop when the Archbishop is impeded, absent from the Archdiocese, or specifically delegated to act; serving as a member of all legal Archdiocesan corporations along with the Archbishop.
